According to the insulation material, the cable can be divided into oil-immersed paper insulated cable, plastic insulated cable and rubber cable; according to the transmission power can be divided into AC and DC cables; according to the structural characteristics can be divided into type, split type, Underground, pipeline, air, water crossing the river, mine, high altitude, salt mist, large height difference, multi-mobile, hot-hot areas and so on each kind of environmental protection, In addition, according to the voltage level can be divided into high-voltage cables and low-voltage cables; core number can be divided into single-core cables and multi-core cables and so on.
